BIOGRAPHY
Angelo Tani
was born in Faenza, Ravenna, Italy, in 1963. He
received the “Laurea” degree, with honors, in electrical engineering from
the University of Bologna, Bologna, Italy, in 1988. He joined the Department of
Electrical Engineering, University of Bologna, in 1990, where he is currently
a Research Associate. His scientific work is related to electrical machines
and drives, power electronics and Maglevs. He has published more than 70
papers in technical journals and conference proceedings. His current
activities include ac/ac matrix converters, direct torque control of induction
motors and multiphase drives.
